My car lost the timing belt and water pump on 270 on my way home from vacation last weekend. Local friends recommended I have it towed to Westerville Automotive for repairs. They have used this shop for over a decade. I couldn't be more pleased. While the repairs needed were more than what I was willing to put into my old 2001 Honda Civic, the price quoted was more than fair. They had to do some repair (which I authorized) in order to find out if the engine was okay. It was not. Ken was honest, patient, incredibly helpful and understanding as we dealt with several days of going back and forth as I made decisions on what to do about the car. He worked me into their busy schedule since I was from out of town and it was an emergency situation for me. Again, I couldn't be more pleased with their professionalism and integrity. I have taken my cars and trucks here for over 12 years. Just recently my beloved 96 Grand Marquis developed AC problems. Not only did they diagnose and fix the easy problems, when they found out the automatic environment control head was not working and could not be replaced (out of production limited custom feature part) Kevin called Ford, received personalized tech notes from them, then torn down the control head and re-soldered the connections to get them to function! I've had 3 experiences w/ this shop and I was nothing short of impressed with them. I'm the kind of person who prefers to do my own work. But not everything can be done in a driveway. So when I don't have the time or tools to fix something I take it to the North Westerville shop. The first time I took my wife's civic there was to get an alignment after I replaced some suspension parts. She needed her car back the next day and they managed to work it into the schedule.

The second trip I made to see the guys was when I ran into an issue installing a lift kit on my truck. The stud on the top plate of my strut broke loose and I couldn't get the nuts off. Knowing I needed a spring compressor to completely resolve the issue I called the shop and they had my truck back on the road the next day.

Once the lift kit was installed I had several discount tire shops tell me they wouldn't align my truck because of the very basic lift I had on it. I spoke with Doug at the North Westerville store and ordered a set of 33" Goodyear Duratracs. They were installed and aligned within a day and my truck rides perfectly.

"I took my family on a road trip to the West Coast. 16 days, 17 states and almost 6,000 miles. About 1,000 miles were up and down 7-15% grades, either in 3rd gear to get up or in 2nd gear engine braking down until you could smell the brakes. About 25 miles horizontal and 1 mile vertical from Dillon, Colorado to the Eisenhower (you can't make me call it Johnson) Tunnel in 3rd gear and the gauges never moved! I had to add gasoline and wash the windows in my 2002 Chevy Suburban that started the trip with 129,000 miles and a fresh oil change.
