Transmission Cut to show you the inside of it

Nothing works if your transmission doesn't work!  Simply put you are going nowhere without it and it is the one thing that both car and truck drivers alike never think twice about until it really acts up or they have no power or simply don't move forward.  Most of us have a newer car or truck with an automatic transmission in it vs. a standard transmission so do not notice that it is slipping gears until the problem is really serious so the question is how do you get the most out of your transmission?  The obvious answer is to take care of your transmission with scheduled service per your owner's manual recommendation but we have put together a simple checklist for our Westerville drivers to help them become "transmission aware" as it were.

Oil gunked up on an engine.

We see this with our fleet customers, our regular Westerville car pool drivers and our diesel truck drivers so it isn't just one type of driver that ends up with a nightmare on their hands costing thousands of dollars to repair, asking about the costs of a JASPER replacement engine!  The fact is your driving habits and maintenance habits can easily avoid this issue!  6 EASY STEPS - Service, Tires, Don't Ignore Service Engine Lights, Keep it Clean & Stop Driving Crazy!

Phenomenal service and a truly great experience from start to finish with the team here at Westerville Automotive. They were a referral to me for tires on my truck and from the first phone call to setting the appointment to having the work done has been very impressive. I would highly recommend this business for your automotive needs, they go the extra mile. Thank you, Westerville Automotive. I will certainly be a repeat customer. - Brandon F. Simple service visits can discover all kinds of things you would think are obvious but we simply get in and drive!  If the lights come on and the car starts....No Problem.  Then we see things like this here at Westerville Automotive in Westerville  and we have to ask...When did you hit something and WHAT was it.  The typical answer is WHAT???  They've already forgotten the incident an don't realize that a bent rim could case all kinds of problems.   Then we ask...Does it pull a little when you are driving?

No Cold Air?   This looks like a really clogged up home A/C filter right?  It's an evaporator that on a vehicle is meant to allow air to flow through it and cool down your vehicle's A/C unit allowing it to work properly.  This, however, is a seriously plugged up evaporator with very little air flow coming through!   The A/C Evaporator did not get this way overnight, providing warning signals along the way such as the car wasn't cooling enough.

4-wheel and all-wheel drive trucks, jeeps and SUV's are becoming very popular, and they have some practical advantages but they do require different maintenance. Your vehicle has to be ready to take on the challenges of your driving style or terrain in the area and we want to ensure that you keep those service bills down and avoid any costly repairs by being pro-active.    Here is everything you need to know about your 4-wheel drive jeep or truck as well as some of the things our technicians at Westerville Automotive in Westerville, OH check every time you visit our shop to ensure we take care of any issue you might have.

While your exhaust system helps reduce noise output from your vehicle, it also significantly reduces harmful emissions from being released into the air. When your muffler and exhaust system functions properly, it significantly reduces your vehicle's harmful impact on the environment. It also significantly improves the functionality of your vehicle and improve fuel mileage for your car, truck, SUV or Jeep.

An exhaust system is made up of numerous parts that work together to rid your car of the exhaust gases that are created during the combustion cycle, as your engine burns fuel. Each part of your exhaust system has an important role to play in removing exhaust gases away from the engine as quickly as possible, allowing another cycle of combustion to begin. The more quickly and efficiently an exhaust system does this the more efficiently an engine can run. The main parts of an exhaust system are an exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, oxygen sensors, exhaust pipes and the muffler.
